The Swedish Handicap Institute (SHI) is a national resource centre on assistive technology and accessibility for persons with disabilities. SHI works for full participation and equality for persons with disabilities by ensuring access to high-quality assistive technology, an effective provision of assistive devices and an accessible environment. SH's information and demonstration days, "ID-dagarna", is a trade fair where everyone intererested in assistive technology and assistive devices meet. The exhibition contains of 50 Swedish companies and organizations who show their products to the public, e.g. speech technology products. Over 80 seminars and lectures take place during the event.
